Til Death Do Us Part

Jennifer and I took our first vacation of 2021 the first week of May. we flew out of Kahului on Friday, 30-Apr and landed in Orlando, FL at about 0600 on Saturday, 1-May. We picked up a rental car and did some joy riding before heading over to the hotel. That day we did some mini-golf, lunch at a crazy restaurant, and otherwise just relaxed.

The next day, Sunday 2-May, we went to Animal Kingdom with her mother, father, and sister.

Monday, 3-May was a rather uneventful day. The highlight of our day was going to get our marriage license! Later that afternoon/early evening, we split and went our separate ways for ‘activities.’ I went to K1 Speed (fancy go-kart track) and dinner with my father, uncle, brother-in-law, and two buddies while Jen did something with the ladies.

On 4 May 2021 I was lucky enough to be able to marry my best friend, Jennifer. We had a small ceremony in Florida for which a few of our friends and family were able to come and celebrate with us. The venue was a place called Cypress Grove Estate House and was a gorgeous area. Feel free to take a look at the content below to your hearts content.

The 5th, 6th, and 7th were spent at Universal Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom (respectively). We had a great time and 10/10 would recommend again. The parks were busy but they weren’t so bad. When we were there Disney did not have the FastPass lane running… so everything was a line. I don’t do lines well, so the max we’d wait was ~80min. Thankfully nothing was longer than that generally. Disney and Universal did require masks at all times which was a bit unfortunate in the heat and humidity, but Jen made us different themed masks for each park so each day was a nice and fresh mask.

Here’s a good ‘ol fashioned photo dump from our Memory Maker package.

May the fourth be with us, always.
