In October 2022, I took the CompTIA Linux+ certification as a professional milestone. With its focus on fundamental Linux administration, scripting, networking, and security, it offered a solid foundation for navigating Linux environments. I found the exam straightforward, as it aligned closely with some skills and knowledge I had already built through hands-on experience and the rest was rote memorization through studying.
I dunno if I’d recommend it, but it checks a box and was a solid introduction/proof-in-the-pudding to show at the end of my time spent studying.
