Wailuku House – Kitchen Remodel

One of the home improvement projects on our list since we bought the house in 2020 was a kitchen remodel.

December 2024 wasn’t the planned time; in fact, getting the remodel started as an accident. I had called out a business owner named Don Mardesich with No Ka Oi Granite to measure for fabricating a pre-existing slab of granite for our pass through window, pursuant to our window and siding drama from years prior, and in conversation it came up that he could do it all.

Fast forward, between right after Thanksgiving and mid January we had our Kitchen remodeled. Overall, Jen’s selection is pretty good–and Don’s guys did decent work (better be for the cost)… but all the half days grated on my nerves a bit.
