This was a quick, simple camping trip out to Olowalu. Nothing over-planned, just getting out there and making it work.
Truck was packed by 4:30. Early start, no scrambling, everything where it needed to be.
Regarding site preferences for future reference: #4 is the clear winner, tucked back and hidden in the trees. If that one’s taken, #6 works as a backup.
Meals stayed straightforward and easy:
- Dinner (night one): on the road
- Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, bananas
- Lunch: PBJ, Cheez-Its, cuties
- Snacks: Cheez-Its
- Dinner: hamburger helper, spinach, brownies, wine
- Breakfast: muffins
Nothing fancy, but it all works. No stress, no overthinking.
Overall, just a solid, low-key camping trip. Good spot, simple food, and a setup that made everything easy to manage. Exactly what it should be.
